Talks and Workshops
Visit with the Author
Interested in booking me for an author visit?
I am available for talks and workshops.
I offer in-person events to schools, bookstores, community events and libraries.
Events promote my newly launched book, Comfortable In Her Shell,
encouraging the use of self-love, self and kindness as a teaching tool
and instill healthy social and emotional habits to children.
My visiting events run for about 60 minutes. Depending on the event, visits include an introduction, reading book passages, Q&A, fun games and activities.

Workshops
The event can be focused on any topic surrounding the theme of my authored book. Bringing my creative process, I offer multiple activities during my in-person author visits, including talks, storytelling, writing workshops, and crafting activities.
Author Talk/Book Signing
Each event includes motivational speaking focused on self-love, self-acceptance, body positivity and inclusivity. Followed by book signings, reading various book passages, background on the actual real-life book characters, finishing with a Q&A discussion.
Positive Effects of Teaching Kindness
When children are taught to be kind, they are more likely to feel happier, more confident, and more connected to others.
Studies strongly indicate that self-acceptance and acts of kindness have a positive impact on a children’s mental health.
All leading to a reduction in stress and anxiety, and an increase in well-being. As children learn to be more self-accepting,
they tend to be kinder to one another, regardless of their background or differences. Resulting in a more supportive environment for children, accepting of diversity
and inclusivity among their peers. This is especially
important for children who may feel marginalized or excluded.
